Excel allows you to display the system date using the date stamp and NOW functions.?
When will stamp the date important? Why? What may affect spreadsheet developer's choice for the date format used to display the date?
I had to create a spreadsheet that other departments use every day to check all the systems in use today. They checked or x item and send it to us in the IT department. We took the info and left in place to improve the x's on the sheet. The top of the spreadsheet includes an area for people to put their names. date is automatically placed with functions for the purposes of documentation and can not be changed by them.
